Message from H.E. Ambassador Michael Cutts
My wife, Teresa, and I are delighted to be here in Morocco.
We look forward to learning the language and culture, and exploring your wonderful country.
We have already been struck by the warmth and generosity of spirit of your fellow country men and women.
Morocco and Australia share many common interests in the international arena from climate change to tackling international terrorism and violent extremism.
I have a specific interest in developing the economic relationship between our two countries. I have a background in international trade in both the World Trade Organization and free trade agreements.
There are many opportunities in our two economies to advance. I think there is scope to increase the existing level of imports and exports between Morocco and Australia.
We have much to learn from each other in many domains.
I’d also like to give a shout out to all those Australians and friends of Australia in Morocco whom I look forward to meeting in the course of my posting.
